Located in the New York Section of Bo, the school was awarded a grant to double their classrooms. The growing student body, now over 100, exceeds the current 3-toilet facility for the school. The lack of an adequate, septic tank sanitation system could contaminate the school’s newly-completed water well nearby. This deaf school is the only institution of its kind outside of Freetown; students from miles around strive to make the trip daily for a chance to study and learn a trade.
Cost: Approximately $10,000 – See how this unfolds with our Virginia Tech team of architecture and engineering students at their team fundraising site.
